1985 buick lesabre collectors edition specs
The interior is very plush and comfortable. This car is one of the last true Luxuray cars made with a plush interior and soft ride. This car was called the collectors edition and there is some original paperwork and a set of collector edition blank keys in a case. The car has been sitting for almost two years as my father can no longer drive it.
He did stabilize the fuel before it was parked inside. Today I went to the car and it started right up with a jump and I pulled it out and took pictures. It started right up and sounded great. My parents had one of these 4-doors. Cream exterior with Maroon interior. Very nice car, but that 5-liter Olds built 4-bbl was a dog. Probably better than the standard Buick V-6, but not by much since it was a heavy car. Buick must of had a bunch of those hood ornaments in a warehouse somewhere.
I had one. I also had a 79 Park Avenue back in the early 90s. Living room on wheels. Imagine that. My current rude is a mint Grand Marquis. Well said George!! What rubbish! My current daily is a 50K mile Pontiac Bonneville. My Bonneville was one of my favorite cars I owned. It was a perfect fit of sport and comfort. The memories that were made in that car… I swear it was bigger inside than my first apartment.
Need less to say that thing went to the next owner with about 50 coats of wax on it. Nice, very nice! I had a beater Buick when I took my Pantera off the road in the winter. Nice car except lacked power. Its on the wrong coast. This guy consistently finds the best GM cars. This is an interesting price, not too out of range, may even be right on the money with the leather interior. No races to be won with the , and that is okay with many buyers. A peek at the ad shows it has the electronic climate control panel, so it was ordered well.
We had several in our family when new. Nice car. They came with a nice leatherette booklet that had a history booklet, collector key blanks, fob and frame worthy pics of past year LeSabres etc.
They pop up on eBay from time to time. Here is a link that shows the various contents. Price seems about right too. So this is first in the series of Collector Editions.
I had an 83 LeSabre Custom, similar to this car, not as well equipped but still nice. It was a great car, smooth, roomy and quiet. Heat and AC work great. Power locks, seats and windows all functionfine. No leaks. Car starts up and runs and idles perfect. No engine or other lights on at the dash. All lights and signals work fine. Interior of car is like new.
No rips or stains. And the head lineris perfect also if you can believeit.
